These terms set out the basis on which schools and their staff may use Back of House Schools. By using the app, you agree to these terms. We've kept them short and readable.
In plain terms: Back of House Schools is currently free for pilot schools. Use it for your department, keep your login secure, and we'll do our best to provide a reliable, useful service.
Back of House Schools is a web-based tool that helps school Food Studies, Hospitality and Home Economics departments manage scheduling, recipes, ordering, dietary requirements and catering events. We provide the service "as is" and aim to keep it available, reliable and improving over time.
During the pilot, the service is provided free of charge to participating schools. The pilot is intended to help us refine the app together with real departments. After the pilot, simple per-school pricing will apply, and we will give clear notice before any charges begin. There is no lock-in.

You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you agree not to attempt to access other schools' data, disrupt the service, upload harmful content, or use the app for any unlawful purpose.
Your school's operational data remains yours. We store and process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. The app is designed so that no personal student information is collected. You can request export or deletion of your school's data at any time.
We work to keep the service running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. From time to time we may carry out maintenance or updates, and we will aim to minimise any disruption. We are not liable for occasional downtime or issues outside our reasonable control.
The app is a planning and organisation tool. While we strive for accuracy, you remain responsible for checking ordering quantities, dietary information and other outputs before acting on them. To the extent permitted by law, Back of House Schools is not liable for any loss arising from use of the service.
We may update the app and these terms as the service develops. Significant changes will be reflected here with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Schools may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access where these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached.
